About Me

Katrin I. Kutlucinar, MA, LCPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and psychotherapist specializing in bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, PTSD, and trauma-related conditions. She also works with clients experiencing depression and anxiety.

Katrin holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Washington Adventist University and uses evidence-based approaches tailored to each client. She is a research associate with Dr. Robert M. Post, contributing to studies on pediatric bipolar disorder, and is one of the few U.S. clinicians trained in Family-Focused Therapy for Bipolar Disorder (FFT-BD). Her recent case study explores how FFT-BD can be adapted for clients without family support.

Beyond her clinical work, Katrin is an avid gardener, dog lover, writer, and international speaker, regularly presenting at conferences to advance awareness and care in pediatric mental health.
